TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Marvelling Tours & Safaris

By confirming a booking with Marvelling Tours & Safaris, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of travel require full payment at the time of confirmation.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 60 days or more before travel: 90% refund of the total amount paid.
  • 30–59 days before travel: 50% refund.
  • Less than 30 days before travel: No refund.

Please note that bank charges and transaction fees are non-refundable.

3. Changes Requested by the Client

  • Any request to change travel dates or itinerary details must be submitted in writing.
  • Approval of changes is subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

4. Changes by Marvelling Tours & Safaris

  • We reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen local circumstances.
  • In the event of significant changes, clients will be notified and offered suitable alternatives.
  • Should government taxes, fuel surcharges, park fees, or other mandatory charges increase, we reserve the right to adjust rates accordingly.

5. Travel Insurance

All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, personal injury, and loss of baggage.

6. Medical Conditions

  • Clients with existing medical conditions must complete a medical declaration form.
  • Allergies, mobility limitations, or special requirements must be disclosed prior to travel.

7. Client Conduct & Compliance

  • Clients are expected to behave responsibly and comply with all local laws and customs.
  • Disruptive, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Guests must respect local cultural norms, including appropriate dress codes in conservative areas.

8. Child Policy

  • Children under 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Child discounts may apply depending on age and tour type.

9. Consent & Liability Waiver

  • Clients acknowledge voluntary participation in tours organized by Marvelling Tours & Safaris and confirm that all relevant medical information has been disclosed.
  • Clients understand that certain activities involve inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, hiking, boating, and travel in remote areas.
  • Clients release Marvelling Tours & Safaris, its employees, guides, and partners from liability for injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of proven negligence.
  • Clients authorize the company to arrange emergency medical treatment if necessary.
  • While we will assist in emergencies, associated costs remain the responsibility of the client unless caused by our negligence.

10. Force Majeure

Marvelling Tours & Safaris shall not be held liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or government actions.

11. Complaints & Disputes

Any complaints regarding reservations, accommodation, meals, or services must be reported in writing during or immediately after the tour. Failure to do so may limit our ability to investigate or resolve the issue.

12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
